    Correct. The 296 tag indicates it's for a 2 liter RF96.

    Were the FFs the same? Can’t hardly imagine they made two varieties for the same chassis.

    My RF 94(VD 2041) has 294 tags and I think was always a Kent.

    The RF96 FC was a unique car, being the only year with the monoshock. I don't think there was a '96 FF but if there was, it wasn't a monoshock.
    RF94 suspension is completely different than RF96.

    Yes. But it wears 294 tags and was FF at least as far back as June of 1995, according to the log books.

    OTOH, perhaps these are not the original suspension pieces...

    I think you answered your own question, BUT, I have seen suspension bits with "F94" tags. They might have even been on my FC.

    Sam;

    Any dings, bends, rust, scrapes or any other imperfections? I understand these fit the RF94/95 cars, and increase the track considerably. My buy it to compare with my stuff.

    Rick,

    My "294" piece is adjusted a tad shorter through the heim joint on the rear arm. Perhaps eliminating the heim is the known design improvement mentioned in another thread? I could go out with the tape measure again if you wish...

    Edit: Just took a look at Primus. The 96 pieces were unique to that year.

    Mike, there was a thread stating the wide track RF96 would fit the pickup points on the RF94/95. What’s the real deal?

    I don't recall the thread but I remember a guy from Indiana adapted RF96 suspension to his RF95. He said it wasn't the improvement he hoped for and it took a lot of dialing to get it right. I can't recall what was required to install it but I think it bolted on. You would need custom pushrods, though.
    I'm guessing that it wasn't a very desirable upgrade or we would see a lot more RF95/96s.

    Note: even though this thread is in FF, I'm talking about FC.
