Well, I'm just at 6 feet tall and I fit OK with a poured foam seat. The seat back is not all that substantial but I should think someone a bit taller would be just fine.
If you fit in a Swift DB1 there should be no problem with the Anson.

The Anson has a new home.
Thanks, ApexSpeed!
Where is the Anson going?

LOL - Way to go Mike! I would like to have bought it back myself.
Maybe I should go bye a SA4 now!!!!
Hi Rich,
Nice to hear from you, ya ole horse trader...
I always wanted an SA 6, and most of the parts I have are for it ( guess I used up a lot of the SA 4 bits). With the jigs, molds, drawings, and castings, I can build 2 more complete cars, limited by having only 2 bell housings.
.........but still open to selling. A mustang in part trade, but only 4 wheels, no hooves.
Cheers,
Mike
Jusst fur fun, thought I'd update this........
We are autocrossing the Anson SA-6, now.
My wife, Colleena, was interviewed and shown driving it at the Oakland Coliseum last Sunday, on Ch. 2 news. It was a good plug for the SCCA Solo sport, vs. the "sideshow" idiots, who had shut down the adjacent freeway, a few days earlier.
I won the A-Mod class, and beat some formula Mazdas and Fords.
Anson inquiries invited.

Is this car still available ?
I know for a fact that it has been sold, see Mikes comments in a preceding post, and is in California.

Call the above phone numbers.

I'm resurrecting this years-old thread in the hope of finding one very important part for my SA6. I need the fiberglass under tray that attaches to the lower, inner edges of the side pods and closes off the bottom of the engine compartment.
Any help is appreciated.
No need to worry. That photo (taken at Fontana) is from around 1998 or so. We're just finishing a complete rebuild of the car and I'm painting up a second complete set of bodywork and wings in a different livery. How much do you want for the under tray?

I don't know how I missed this thread the first time around. I appreciate the looks of the Anson. I used to lust over the one that Vic Loh raced with VARA.
Anyway, I found it quite funny that some random "Go-Cart" driver was Terry Ives!
That's akin to me selling my Cessna to some random aeroplane guy named Chuck Yeager.

So is car for sale or not for sale? Can't make heads or tails from these posts.
Thanks

One year when i was NASCAR manager for Ford Racing I was invited to an end of the season team and friends party at Road Atlanta by Jack Roush. This was a huge party with over 100 guests, many race cars and 4 pilots for the plane rides! The guest of honor was Chuck Yeager. Everone at tha main dinner table was a pilot of some note who were friends with Jack and i was the only non pilot at the head table and I was lucky enough to be seated next to Chuck Yeager. He did not want to talk much about flying but we had a great conversation about, family, racing and other stuff. Jack had arranged for Chuck to sign 2 hats for me which i gave to my sons Jay and Brian. What an honor and a thrill to meet & talk with Chuck Yeager in the Flesh! Especially for me as he was one of my personal heros when i was a kid! Now that was a party!

Fortunately, I've got lots of spares for just about everything. If I had another tub I could build another car. The things I don't have spares for are lower front A-arms (I've got a guy who can make new ones) and, of course, that under tray. Mine has a bit of damage and rather than spend time repairing it I'd rather replace it.
