Default Reduced price and more included:

I believe about 6'6. I can measure if you need an exact ht.

I have offered the trailer to a fellow here who is interested for $2500 including a winch and battery and four tall skinny wheels for moving it around in the shop...for single fastener wheels.

And I'll deliver part way for fuel.?

Inside height is 6 feet in the center of the trailer. The door opening is 70". The human side door is 35.5" wide.

I'll trade up or down to an aluminum open trailer.

    Default open trailer trade?

Am now interested in a trade or partial trade for an open trailer, ideally aluminum, and big enough to haul a car up to about 3500# with two axles. single axle would be fine and must haul the FF and a couple hundred pounds of tires wheels and bike..

How has this not sold yet?! Up here in New England you can't find a trailer like this for close to this price.

Tom, how does your car fit? I would love a cheap closed trailer, but my narrow track VD barely fits on a 72" open trailer. Do you have to switch/remove tires to get the car in?

I have not used it. The PO Phil used tall narrow motorcycle wheels on the one lug wheels. I iwll include them in the deal if you like....no charge.

The 98 "just" fit in on it's race wheels and tires. The bigger issue was ground clearance, so we always (other than once at nationals) swapped on the travel wheels to make things easier. As some one else mentioned, I can not believe this trailer is still for sale, I had an offer of $3500 on it only a few days before I made the deal with Tom to make the delivery part of the sale.

Phil used the winch to bring the car into the trailer. The front tires will just fit the door opening with careful alignment. I wanted to drive the car into the trailer so a wider opening is needed for me.

We typically pushed the car into the trailer by hand. With 2 people it's a piece of cake. Driving the car into the trailer is going to be difficult even with a wider door... it's not very gentle on the clutch and the car is also so low that it will likely scrape a little no matter what ramps you use.

A winch is the cheapest, easiest, and safest way to single hand it in my opinion. In fact, even a manual winch similar to what is used on the front of boat trailers would be SUPER easy to pull up and require no battery, wiring, etc.
