Probably a dumb question, but I need to ask...Quicksilver Ztec LD200 4 speed trans...How can I identify the R&P ratio without splitting the cases? I have seen ratios suggested for 13:36 and 10:31
Thanks in advance

With one rear wheel free to spin (and the box in neutral)
Take off the rear cover on the gearbox.
Start turning the pinion (upper) shaft and count the number of turns it makes and the number of turns the free rear wheel makes.
If you have a X:Y R&P, you'll turn the pinion Y times while the wheel turns 2X times (remember what a differential does!).
Take the plug out of the top of the differential section stick something like long q-tip in and wipe the pinion gear tops. Mark one with a marker and turn and count the teeth, it is very easy to see from the top plug hole.
If its a zetec it is most likely a 13/36, but not in every case.
Which method(s)?
I just marked the ring gear with a sharpie and counted teeth while spinning a rear wheel
