Sold ! Thanks Apexspeed !
1984 Rf84 Van Diemen Formula Ford, set up for SCCA Solo C-mod. I purchased the car from Craig Carr in June 2013. Craig had Bruce Domeck of Unique Automotive, Louisville, KY, (502-452-2688) perform a bare chassis rebuild of the car a couple of years earlier, including rebuilding the engine and inspecting the transmission. Car was inspected and aligned by Mark Lamm spring of 2016.
I autocrossed the car locally since 2013, then began sharing the car with my son, traveling more, including Nationals in 2015 and 2016.
Car is eligible to run PCF (Post Club Ford) in SVRA and other vintage groups, as well as SCCA Club Racing, but would require a ring and pinion change.
I am 6' tall, 200 lb., and fit the car comfortably. Car will accept taller drivers, and heavier ones (I used to be heavier !!). My 5'5", 120# daughter has also driven the car.
Reason for selling: My son wants to change classes, and I simply don't want to run the car by myself.
An Rf-84 Van Diemen has placed First (2018), Second (2019), and Third (2016, 2017) at Solo Nationals, so the chassis is competitive.
