First, your private message box is apparently at it's max and you are not able to receive new messages - just a heads up.


The MRTI series Star Mazda motor that is posted as a core and will need to be reset by a builder (now that the cars are no longer MRTI there are a number of builders that can do this, however the last series builder (Speedsource) is out of this business). For this motor, $1,750 is the price and it includes the shipping crate. The motor spins freely but I have not opened it up to see what the condition of the rotor housings are hence I cannot make any statements as to condition AND why the price is (in my mind) so low. If you call Adkins Rotary for one of the 165 core dry sump rotary motors that they purchased in a bulk buy, you can expect a far loftier price. In fact, they have broken down all of the motors into their various parts and are selling them piece meal and the parts are not inexpensive anymore.

There is a third motor that I have that is not listed on ApexSpeed that has just 10 hours on it and is a MRTI sealed Star Mazda motor that came from JDC motor sports. John Church said that this motor is "a good one" and has LOTS of competition life on it - it's as close to new as you may find out there without being actually new. The price for this motor is $10,000 and includes the shipping crate. I guess you could infer that this motor really isn't for sale unless I get what I want because this one is really to remain with PFM 005576 that I am selling in the PFM Cars for sale section.
