    Default Ford Kent Cam timing

Hi, I want to know the Inlet push rod lift at TDC on a standard cam and standard timing, need it as a quick check or any known lift at TDC for a timing ie 112deg centre line. One of our cars has a new engine from England but it's down on power, wanted to check if timing is where it should be, engine in place.
Thanks Art for the contact good to hear you are well.
    Thanks John

Looking at the SCCA intake valve graph, intake lift at the pushrod would be .034" at TDC for the factory 109 degree timing, but .029" for 112 degrees (3 degrees retarded). I think you'd get a more accurate read by finding the point of maximum lift and counting flywheel teeth. Max lift should be ~.232" and 112 degrees ATDC should be about 34.2 teeth for a 110 tooth ring gear.
