    Default Photo delete

My profile says I have no photos loaded. But when posting a pic this evening I found
I had 9 pages (about 200 pics) there from previous posts over the years. I could select
and post any of them - but how do I delete them? Could not find any 'delete' button,
    even after 'selecting'.

    Thanks - Derek

    Default Attachment delete...

    Steps to review/delete your attachments:

    1. Click on your username (upper right..."Welcome, username")
    2. On the menu bar (New Posts...Quick Links), select "General Settings" from the "Forum Actions" drop down
    3. Scroll down to the left pane "My Settings", and select "Attachments" under the "Miscellaneous" heading.
    4. For those attachments you wish to delete, click the box on right and then the "Delete Selected" found on the lower right.

    Take care,

Chris - thx for you early reply. That erased 9 pics from 'recent' posts (I had to re-load 2 which I only posted last night) - but that still leaves 9 pages of 161 pics in File Upload Manager. How do I delete those?
    Thx - Derek

This is mostly a repeat of pru's post, but it's all I know...

Go to : Settings (upper right)

Scroll down to and click on "Attachments (near the bottom on the left)

A list of your attachments will appear (newest first).

Click the small boxes on the right to select those you want to delete.

Scroll to the bottom of the list and click "Delete Selected."

Go to the "next page" to see more and repeat.

And (useful), select the "Show Thumbnails" button at the bottom of the page.

Thx Dave and Russ - and Chris - but that only applies to "Attachments Posted" - which in my
case right now only includes the 2 pics I had to re-post this morning.

My question remains how do I delete the other 159 pics in "File Upload Manager"?
I presume these are all the pics I have posted in the last 18 years.

    Anyone? Thx.

This appears to be a vBulletin issue: File Upload Management and Attachment Manager Issue

Users either delete the attachments through "settings">"attachment" or have the postings removed. The previously deleted attachments are still available through the "image upload manager", when they access these image attachmenst through "advanced edit" under "manage attachment".
Perhaps Doug can help as this one is "above my pay grade" ...

Derek, your account is showing only 2 photos attached via our server. Where were you seeing 200 images in your account?

I am experiencing the same problem as DEREKOLA. When I follow these instructions above, It shows I have 10 photos. When I am creating a post and click the attachments icon, the Attachment Manager window pops up. In that screen I can see 22 thumbnails. Not sure if these thumbnails count toward your allotted MB storage. But, when more photos get added, it will certainly create confusion when trying to attach photos to a post.

How do you get rid of 'Ghost Thumbnails?'
