Anybody have any clues as to where to look first in order to troubleshoot why my crew volume is very low in my transducer earbuds?
Crew can hear me fine.
Ruled out antenna.
Ruled out radio.
Thanks
Bob

Has it always been that way with the same earbuds, or is this something new? Sounds gross, but check for ear wax in the holes in the buds.

Keith,
same earbuds, same helmet, same radio. Different car and harness. AND And add adapter to convert the helmet between NASCAR and IMSA plugs
I wiped it earbuds off after every event with disinfectant wipes. But your post did make me look inside the tubes, and there was a little bit of deposits in there. Not much so I don’t think that was the issue. I will give it a go later today and let you know .
Thanks,
Bob
conductivity issues in the harness. Connect/disconnect every connector in the chain several times and make sure they are fully seated.
If it's frayed wires in the earbud assembly that would really suck.
I have an adaptor on a Stilo helmet, & the adaptor cable has to connect one way only (I put the cable on backwards once, and I could barely hear, like you describe). The cable should be labeled "helmet' on one end & "car" or something similar on the other. Check this anyway... Good luck.
