My switch died on my vee lift. I would like to replace it with the one that it came with.
Center off - Press one side up, other side goes down. I tried Grainger. Anyone know part number or manufacturer?
Thanks,
john

You should be able to find something close from McMaster-Carr.
If you cannot find the same one, try looking for window up/down switches used in passenger cars. They have the same "current reversing" , "momentary" and "center off" function as your switch. Older cars in particular have switches which handle higher current loads and have the same spade connectors.

Maybe this one?

A simple DPDT-CenterOff switch will work a s well. The two battery poles go to the center connections and the winch wires are attached to connections on one side of the switch (would operate if the switch was moved that direction). Short jumpers need to be made that ‘cross over’ from one outside connection to the opposite connection on the other side of the switch, basically reversing the poles of the winch.

McMaster Carr - good idea ... looked, but not there, same as Grainger.
Window switches. Good idea, went to rock auto, which led me to Doorman, but most of their switches are for regulated motors.
Well, I have the DPDT from Grainger which I can cross wire, but still like the original because it fits nicely in a very sturdy box.
But thanks for all the suggestions.

Look also in Newark. Their catalogue and web site are a nightmare, though, so you will need many hours of free time available.
