    Car year: 1993
    Class: Formula F/Ford F1600

    Roller or turnkey: Turnkey
    History:
This was the first Van Diemen car to win the SCCA Runoffs in 1993

We purchased the car in 2009. We had many SCCA Major podiums and top 10's in the F1600 Pro Championship Series. All of our race results are on file and documentation will be transferred with the car.

All significant work on the car was completed by St. Clair Motorsports, Polestar Racing, or V2 Motorsports. This car is race ready. It will be prepared as if I were to take it to a national myself, with new filter and fluids.

Current driver is 5'10" 150 Lbs

The roll bar has been raised to accommodate taller drivers. I have also raced against shorter drivers in the same RF93 chassis.

The only reason for selling is I have taken up ATV racing on a national level. I had plans to race this car at the 50th but my new race schedule will not allow unfortunately.

This car is very well documented with setup notes, checklists, manuals, and many binders with individual track notes and maps.

My teammate has 92 and 93 vd's.. I've never driven them but have sat in them. 6'1" 190-200 lbs.. it's tight but I believe I could get comfortable if made a few adjustments. I fit in 01 and up cars well
    Cheers

The limiting area for most on the 92 and 93 VDs is in the knees. They are real narrow between the front hoop. When getting in you mght have to slide one foot down with your other foot up by your knee if you have larger feet.

I’m surprised this car isn’t gone. A similar car finished 5th at the 40th, while another ran up front and also had fastest time at SVRA COTA by a fair margin last November. Very quick cars, especially in Vintage
