The last piece of the puzzle is now in place. Ohio Valley Region's September double regional at Mid-Ohio has been selected as the fourth race in the 2003 FF/CFF East vs West Challenge. We have a great schedule this year: four of the best tracks in the country, four double regional weekends spread out nicely over the season, and four highly motivated partner regions.

    Here is the entire schedule:

    May 24-25, Grattan, Western Michigan
July 5-6, Blackhawk Farms, Blackhawk Valley
    August 16-17, Road America, Chicago
    September 6-7, Mid-Ohio, Ohio Valley

Put these dates on your calendar now. The 2003 EWC will again be the place to race your FF1600:

    - single race groups for FF/CFF at Grattan and Blackhawk
    - big fields and close racing
    - driver and team championships
    - reserved paddock space for FF/CFF
    - first or second race groups at all events for a quick getaway
    - contingency awards
    - other surprise and delights

The 2003 EWC contingency award package will be firmed up by the end of March. Keep you eye on the ff1600 web site and your e-mail for more series news as it becomes available.

Put these dates on your calendar now. Everyone wins when car counts are up.

More good news. I got phone call Sunday afternoon from Peter Olivola. Chicago Region will be offering single race groups for FF/CFF at their August double regional at Road America.

Put August 16-17 on your calendar NOW. Don't miss this great opportunity to race your Formula Ford at one of the world's premier circuits.

Many thanks to Peter and all of our Chicago Region friends.

Just so there's no confusion, that's a single race group for FF/CFF (but we'd love to have to split the two!)

Many thanks to Kirsten Dell for the EWC plug on page 44 of the March SportsCar. How she got the new Mid-Ohio date in so fast with the magazine's production lead times I'll never know....

If you are not receiving e-mails from me, please send me your .com so that I can add you to the recruiting pool.
