Default Aluminum Honeycomb for Composite Nose Construction

I'm in the process of building a spare nose for my Mygale F2000 car, replicating the factory design which incorporates a 1/2" aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel horizontally across the inside of the nose, and what looks like 1/4" or slightly larger along sides. Does anyone know of a source to buy smaller pieces of the honeycomb material ? I'm using resin infusion to build the nose, so the panels need to have a barrier to prevent the resin from simply filling the honeycomb.
    Thanks in advance,
    Francis

I have a bunch of sheets of aluminum honey comb with unidirectional fiberglass sandwich. These are approx 1/2" total thickness. These are left over from previous projects. Size ranges from 12"x12" to 24"x24".

Surplus place in St. Louis. (used to have lots of McDonald Douglas stuff) I bought some 1/4" thk., small cell (1/8 or 3/16) alum panels (2 ft x 40") several years ago, @ decent price. Worth checking; lots of other neat stuff, not everything is listed on web, call.
