The northeast formula car community has lost a long time FV driver and club participant who embodied sportsmanship.

Paul A. Faford, 73, of Manchester, died Friday September 21, 2018 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Webster, MA on May 20, 1945, he was the son of Arthur and Marie (St. George) Faford.
Paul attended Assumption Prep School, and graduated from Conant High School, Jaffrey, class of 1963. He went to tech school for drafting, before he enlisted in the US Navy in 1963, and was honorably discharged. After the military he attended New Hampshire College for Business. He retired as a paraprofessional at Merrimack High School. He was an avid race fan and participant, belonging to the Sports Car Club of America for over 30 years. He enjoyed cars, gardening, going cruising with his wife Elaine to the Caribbean, and above all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Elaine( Rodzen) Faford; five children, Michelle L Bolton and her husband Dustin of Portland, OR, Norman Faford and his wife Brenda of Boise, ID, and Julian Lawrence and his fiancee Tricia of Portland, OR, Stacy Spencer and husband Andy of Mendon, MA, and Rick Germana and fiancee Julie of Swanzey; six grandchildren, Tyler, Tim, Justin, Alexa, Casey, and Nina; one sister, Jeanne LaBrie of Jaffrey; several nieces nephews and cousins; and his two beloved kitties Smokey and Marlow.
SERVICES: Calling hours are 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, with a Memorial Service beginning promptly at 8 pm, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester. Burial, with Military Honors, will take place on Wednesday at 11 am, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
