SOLD
Set of four Penske 8100 aluminum body double adjustable remote reservoir shocks with just about every tool and part you might ever need to maintain, re-valve, rebuild, etc.
Recently valved A+/B, fronts are 12.5" at full extension, rears 13.5" with a 1/2" longer eyes, shorter eyes included in the bits lot would make them 13"
Reluctantly taken off my PRS Club Ford in-order to comply with the Monoposto CF rules which my local vintage club uses. I'm loath to sell these as they work very well. Recently a well respected fellow driver drove my car for a few laps and reported it was the best handling car he had ever driven.
First photo is of the shocks themselves, subsequent are closeups of the bits and pieces included in the lot. Shocks show cosmetic wear, especially on the threads and the rear reservoirs. That being said the perches move fine along the threads so the damage there is just cosmetic. Lots of bits and pieces, shims, special tools, service manual, nitrogen bottle with regulator and filler hose, pressure tester, pistons, O-rings, seals, shafts, needles, eyes, etc. The yellow bin box has a selection of shims and things so you can likely re-valve to just about any combination you like.
$1750 for the lot, PayPal preferred but not required, we split the fee. Buyer pays shipping for the 34lb box that will measure about 18x18x12 from Chico, CA 95926, exclusive of the nitrogen bottle.
The bottle has some nitrogen in it but will be emptied and shipped separately via FedEx or UPS Ground if this lot is to be shipped, assuming I can actually send an empty bottle. Boxed it will be about 14lbs and measure about 20x8x8. Again, I will have to confirm that an empty bottle can be shipped.
Local pickup in Chico OK. I'm about 40 miles from Thunderhill Raceway so I can deliver them there as well. A cash deal delivered would save a lot on shipping and PP fees. I'm also planning on attending the SOVREN Sept 6-8 event at Portland so they could be picked up there.
I'm offering this as as lot, at least initially, not into nickel and diming the bits yet.
