For Sale 1960 Lotus S2 Seven America, 7a

Entire history is with this car, most recently as the Solo car of the Kelly family, (John, Pat, and Katie), who won 8 National Championships with it.
Hollywood Sportscars bought it as a complete, new car from Lotus, to use as a demonstrator, then sell a kit.
It was the test car for a 1961 Road and Track article at Riverside (magazine included).
Chuck Tatum (later to start Crusader FV) raced it at West Coast tracks, then
    Sold it to Pat Kelly.
Pink slip, original black CA license plates (on a non-op reg. now)
    Photos, articles, results,
Most all of the original equipment is with the car, if not on it.
Dave Rebello built 100 hp engine, 948cc (orig... 42 hp)
Spares include original rear axle, engine (all are 948cc), carbs/manifolds,
    wheels galore, including original 3.5" x 13", up to 9" x 13" modulars.
    fenders, incl, original
    top, windshield assy,.......

    To read Pat Kelly's story;

The front part of the cage has been removed, greatly improving looks and accessibility.
The pieces have been saved, and could be placed as forward diagonal braces for the roll bar.
While the originals go with the car, some nice upgrades to fuel and cooling systems, for auto-x have been made.

Color is Corvette competition yellow (bright), new on wide fenders that are mint.

    Price, $40k

call to discuss or see in Belmont, CA
