    Default Weight of CF tires?

Does anyone know how much the Hoosier CF bias-ply R60A-compound tires weigh? I'm referring to Hoosier item numbers 43130 and 43307. I've looked everywhere on the Internet and can't find it. It's not in the Hoosier catalog.

Also, how much do the Hoosier FF bias-ply R25-compound tires weigh? Item numbers 43127 and 43309.

For comparison, the American Racer CF tires (part numbers JCDNA and JCDHD) weigh 10.5 and 14.5 lbs.

I emailed Hoosier. Here's what they said:

    43307 – approx. 18 lbs.
    43127 – approx. 11 lbs.
    43309 – approx. 15 lbs.

What does the CF tires look like?

I'm very curious as to what they look like?

And are they taller then the Bias ply tires?

Here's all my tire data, including the AR 133, the Hoosier FF, spec-FF, CF, and VFF. And a lot of others too.

I tried to paste it into the forum as a table, but it just wasn't working.

    Especially the front tire.

The vintage tire is also a lot narrower than the CF or FF tires. Plus treaded while the others are slicks. So the vintage tire is going to be much slower, of course.

    American Racer slicks Compound 133
published dimensions from Roger Kraus Racing

    Dimensions are APPROX.

Tire Size Price Tread Width Section Width Diameter Circumference Weight lbs
    20.0/6.0-13S 124.00 6" 7.2 20.4 64 10.5
    22.5/7.5-13S 148.00 7.5" 9.5 22.3 70 14.5

The rear tires are a cantilevered design. They grow in diameter at speed like a drag slick.
They were designed for mini-stocks running on paved ovals with a working temperature of +200F. CF cars seldom see more than 150F.
