Good find, Richard...thanks! So, we have an American manufacturer and an Asian manufacturer. Does that mean we need to add a European manufacturer? Audi anyone?

VW was rumored to be interested a few years back - and then they had the emissions scandal.....given how many mercedes you see on the street now, i'm suprised they aren't back in it

I believe that it stands for "Idiots Requiring Lobotomies".

The 500 is going to be interesting as far as front tire life is concerned - the new bodywork shifted too much weight forward, and the engineers are having a hell of a time getting the balance back (they basically aren't).

It's a symbol of how up-to-date the typical Apexspeeder is on major-league motorsports.

But still, much positive news from a series on the verge of bankruptcy. (Scooped right here too!)

WHY do they need 900 HP? Or, what will be gained by 900 HP?

Next thing you know we'll be reading about restrictor plate racing at Indy like NASCAR.

There would be some value to it if they went engine/electric to get the 900 HP.

“We are starting from a fresh sheet of paper,” St. Cyr said. “The overall package of the engine is designed to fit in the car, so overall dimensions will not change.”
It will fit in the car, that seems like a solid plan.
