Anyone have an idea for a seat shell on a zink z10, that I can pour a foam seat over? I’m 5’10, 210 pounds. Thanks!!

There was a fiberglass seat made for the Z10. My advise is not to use that seat.
I would bend up an aluminum panel that would form the seat back and have it bolt to the side panels. I would use 10x32 screws every 3 to 4 inches to hold that panel in place. Then I would pour a bead seat.
Is that panel allowed to be structural ? fasteners on less than 6 inch centers.
Not being a smart a.. but I always thought that only the belly pan and side intrusion panels were allowed to be structural. If that panel is, I am going to modify mine.
Bolting a panel to other panels on less than 6" centers is legal.
We’ll probably weld something in to keep them solid
Next question for the zink: tire pressures for slicks and the treaded bias bly?
Thank y’all so much for the info!
I would be careful about welding something in. The chassis moves a lot as you run the car and you may be setting up a potential for a frame crack or a hard point that in a crash might not be desirable.
I would be very happy to look at what you are thinking about.
Tire pressures are per the manufacturers recommendations, at least to start. What is just as critical is ride height and camber settings. If you can PM me with the tires you are planning to run I can give you setup help.
I have a little bit of seat time and engineering time in on the Z10.
