The Automotive Specialist, Bungalow, Hoosier, Citation hot rod is back!
Back story:
About a year ago Tim was tire testing at Summit.
Going into a turn a wheel center broke. (the Citation does create some serious Gs)
Tim went for a wild ride that for all intents and purposes destroyed the car.
We are talking about damage i think worse than a Tatuus way back in '05.
I'm guessing about 70% of the parts on the car were toast. I'm not talking about mirrors and things; more like bellhousings, frame tubes, and engine blocks. Serious wipe out.
This comeback record is after a total frame up restoration that Tim did in his shop.
Gotta wonder what he thought on that first hot lap going through that corner...
