I have registered but it seems that if I go to the forum home page first and then login I end up back at the forum home page without it showing or "acting" as if I am logged in. However, if I favorite the login page and go to it directly everything works fine. This might be the same problem Jake is having since FFU let me browse without being logged in and then, if I wanted to post, login at that time. I'm using IE 6.0 with the latest "fixes" if that makes a difference. Dick (slightly confused)R.

It may be your security setting in IE. I actually had to make some changes to my cookie settings to get logged in, I had the secuity set too high for the board.

Clear browser cache, reset forum cookies. Restart browser. Has been successful so far.

This site seems to work best if:

    Login: Close and re-open
    Use IE 5.5 or higher

Here is what just worked for me:
    GOTO TOOLS
    GOTO Internet Options
    GOTO PRIVACY
    GOTO ADVANCED
Make sure you check "Override Automatic Cookie Handling"
Then check "Always allow session cookies"

Glad it worked boys. But as your mammas probably told you all years ago, don't let anything handle your cookies!
