If it weren't for tuition and time, there would a pickup truck in your driveway right now being loaded up. I think it's time to liquidate some of my other projects. Although before I get my hopes up, how tight is the cockpit?

I'm 6'3" and 210 pounds and I have no issues in this chassis. The RF82's, 83's, 84's and even 85's were known for relatively roomy cockpits. Don't even think about the factory seat though!

Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays.

I fit in mine "snugly" at 6'1, 230lbs. I'd be more than comfortable being a few inches taller but not much wider.

Thanks for the insight guys! I'm 6'4+", 220lb with a 36in waist, although that might be trimmed down as we do the driver exercise program for our Formula SAE team.

I had a realistic look at the financial numbers and I'd rather make my money work in different ways (i.e. race vehicle dynamics seminar) in order to build my own chassis, eventually...

Send Daniel your email address. He emailed me 18 to 20 pictures. I can't speak for what all is included, but there was more in the pictures than he listed in the post. Lots of stuff...

Absolutely send me an email. I have an 18 picture package I will send you and can take pictures of anything you wish to see. There are two original rads in the package. Front suspension was complete and on the car when I bought it. I removed it in one piece to facilitate storage. Looks good. All uprights are there and look good. Body work is pictured here. Basically I have two of all bodywork, none of it in great shape.

There is no fuel cell. Whatever fuel cell was last in this car is well past its due date by now and was chucked out. I received no wheels when I bought this car, but I have several sets of the correct Van Diemen wheels I could add on. There are no tires!

Like I said, email me and ask for pictures and details.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Can someone smarter than I tell me if there are differences between '82 and '84 reynard bits (frame/uprights/a-arms)?

If no differences, I'll be in Montreal in June for the F1 Daniel, and would probably be interested in the stuff.

    Default 82 vs 83/4 Reynard

The following items are different on the 82 Reynard vs. the 83/4:
    Front wishbones
    Front rockers
    Front uprights
    Rear rockers
    Rear wishbones
...actually, there are more things that are different than interchangeable!
