Default CF with jump (anderson) connector

Okay, I'm terrible with electrical stuff and we did not take a photo at the track in April when we replaced the battery disconnect. I don't normally need to use the jump battery. As long as I plug in the charger after every session it starts the car and runs the session/race with no issues. But, it's there and I'd like it to function properly. In this photo, the left hand terminal/cable goes directly to the negative post on the battery, and the right hand terminal/cable goes directly to chassis ground.

To which terminal do I attach the negative cable from the jump/Anderson connector (the one hanging there)?

For my jump plugs, I put positive to the starter main lug and negative to a convenient ground spot anywhere.

Nardi, do you then switch the main battery disconnect ON and plug in the jump battery?

Leave off. Start only on jumper. Then switch. If not enough juice with just jumper then switch and use both. I always try to 'preserve' the on board battery.

    Default Explains the "disconnect"

Thanks. That explains why the previous wiring connections worked and the post-repair connection did not work as I wanted it to.
Back to the shop to square it away.

If it is easier, wire the positive jump connection to the starter. Same thing electrically as going to the switched side of hte master but depending, might be less wiring to do.
