SOLD - Formula Enterprises Chassis 88-1
We are selling our SCCA Formula Enterprise car, chassis number 88-1. The -1 designation indicates that the chassis was converted to chromoly tubing. We ran the car in the 2015 and 2016 SCCA seasons. Prior to our ownership of the car it was owned and rebuilt from the ground up by Arms Up Motorsports but not raced. Cape Motorsports raced the car prior to that in the FE Pro Series. The car was prepared for the 2017 racing season and is ready to go to the track. The car comes with 2 new sets of AR slicks (2017 compound) and 1 new set of AR rain tires, all mounted and ready to run.
When we purchased the car the engine was fresh with no time on it and we’ve since done 9 race weekends over 2 seasons. The gearbox is in good condition, recently replaced 2nd and 4th gears. The gearbox has the large actuator for better shifting. We replaced all the wheel bearings in 2016. The Penske shocks were rebuilt in 2015. The car is is excellent condition and has been well maintained.
