    Default Nelson Ledges repaved

New track ownership has been quietly making changes. Just completed, a fresh repave of the entire racing surface.

Nelson with a fresh pave job? That should be a hoot!

This is great news. Glad to see someone bringing it back to useable condition. Hopefully they get all the facilities into the 21st century.

Growing up in Ohio, I think we all had a fondness for Nelson. My first SCCA school was there in 1993, raced a couple of 24 hours over the years, and always had a great time there.

I'd think that saying "lets up they update the facilities into the late 20th century" would be a world-class style upgrade....

Nice to see the place coming back to life. Being here in TX, I sure miss the midwest style tracks.

    Default Elevation changes

?Is there much of an elevation change on a lap? It's hard to see if there is much on the photograph. Nice work on the track surface, we'll need to get there sometime.
I would rather be making racing news than reading it. Living the dream out here in the middle of farm country

Elevation change? No. It has about as much as Blackhawk or Brainerd.

Having raced in the Kreider Cup there I am thrilled to see it back! Nelson had some of the scariest turns and bathrooms of any track in the NE!
