PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO BOTTOM OF POST FOR THE CURRENT CAR, DROPBOX LINK, AND LIST / PICS OF EVERYTHING. CAR, TRAILER, SPARES, PIT EQUIPMENT, CHASSIS SET UP EQUIPMENT. Thanks
We are selling one of the 2 F1000 race cars we currently run. In the pics from the Drop Box link you will see 2 race cars, both are Orange bodywork, both cars are identically prepared (save front lower A Arms) and all improvements inclusive of Chassis Strengthening have been done to each car. The car for sale is #42, white front and rear end plates, black A arms.
You can see in the pics (welding shots) where and how we bolstered the chassis (GUSSETS, more tubes), we re-clocked the front Dampers as well for easier access and changed the wheel motion ratio to 1:1. now both ends of the car are 1:1. In addition the cheesy internal floor plate that bolted in was replaced with a steel plate that is now welded into frame rails. Pedal box brake assembly mounting plate with tons of front rear adjustment and NO FLEX when you push the pedal like it should be, NONE. We did most everything on these cars in the rebuild. The rebuilds were done in 2014 / 15. The car for sale was rented to Lappers this past year, no accidents, no crashes and not driven even close to the limit of the car.

Maintenance History
We started July 2015 with A fresh GDRE GSXR 1000, fresh oil and oil filter, every 2 hours the oil is changed, every 4 hours the oil and filter are changed. Diff is inspected and serviced after every 120 minutes of on track duty, Chain replaced in August 2016. Nut bolt check after very session, chain waxed after every time the car comes off the track and tightened if needed. Once track days are done its back to the shop where we remove bodywork, remove pod floors, remove diffuser and inspect car from front to back, top to bottom. Blow the car out, vacuum the car, clean, if it needs something it gets replaced with new bits. We are fussy! Car has performed near perfect.
New / Used Parts in the Parts Bin (our used parts are all fully functional, NO junk)
- new fuel pump in the box
- new starter in the box
- new chain in the box
- new front and rear gears, (some used some not, NO JUNK) providing full range of ratios that work with an f1000
- new and some used Suspension springs, full compliment of weights, fact is we rarely changed the spring rates as our driver never really pushed the car to where she would notice a spring change
- new Drive Flange kit complete
- used, fully functional water radiator
- vast used selection of AN brake lines with fittings
- spare set of Youngbloed 7" / 9" wheels
- trailering wheels
- BBS 3 piece wheels on the shelf (these came with the car when I bought it, I have never used them, I think there is enough for 2 sets of wheels but like I said, we have never used them. whatever is there goes with the car
So you will see 2 cars in the link, some shots of the Grey chassis (the one for sale) and shots of the Orange Chassis, both are identical under the skin. #42 uses STOHR GEN 1 lower front A arms, that is the only difference.
September 2016 was the last time the car was run, here is the compression test numbers just after it came off the track but was allowed to cool down enough to touch. Starting at driver left moving to the right across the cylinders:
cyl #1 190, cyl #2 187, cyl #3 194, cyl#4 190. Compression test was done with a relatively new MAC Tools Compression tester.
If you require additional pics or have more questions feel free to ask.
I have well over 75K USD into this car. Price as listed for sale $39900.00 USD
