Did anyone run the Gen 2 tires at Sebring? How were they?

    Thanks!

Finding the right setup is still a work-in-progress. But, we're back to running negative camber and the tires seem to last a really long time without any falloff.

No graining. Wear is excellent. Cycle to cycle drop off is minimal. Speed and feel is improved.

Encouraging. Has anyone weighed the Gen 2 tires?

They weight about the same as Hoosiers, 14+- pounds less than the first generation ARs.

Please no! There is no reason to penalize the larger drivers merely so the smaller drivers can have the convenience of carrying less ballast.

Is there any way to tell the Gen 2 tires apart from the Gen 1 tires? Are there different markings?

    Thanks!

All - I spoke with AR. In addition to the weight, you can also tell the Gen 1 tires apart from the Gen 2 tires based on their sidewall markings.

The Gen 1 tires had a large "825" marked on the sidewall. The Gen 2 tires do not have this marking.

    - How many heat cycles are you guys getting out of them?
    - Has anyone quantified the drop off?
    - When do they hit peak performance? (i.e. as stickers, as they wear, right before they cord?)

Looking forward to trying them out and sharing results. Just curious to what the guys lucky enough to be racing already are finding.

    Thanks!
