Sebring Cabin Fever Cure

OK, so who is coming out to join the first race of the 2017 SCCS (Southern Continental Challenge Series) at Sebring the second week of February?

Those of you in miserable February weather up in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, come on down to sunny Florida! Tell the significant other you want to treat them for Valentine's Day! (OK, so Sebring may not be a treat, but it will be warmer!)

Brad at Primus put together a series that is aimed at those mainly regional racers who want great racing, handicapping based on the generation of the car, a reasonably priced spec tire, and a prize fund for each race and the series. What's not to like?

This will be the last race for the Gen 1 AR tire and Brad has a super price for a set for this race. The Gen 2 AR will be ready for the next race in the Series and rumor has it that it will be all you could ask for. From my perspective, I really don't care what tire it is.... as long as we all are on the same rubber, what difference does it make?

I'd love to see the FC crowd in the Southeast do what the FF crowd are doing.

So, let's go racing and make the SCCS a success.

Hey, Atlanta Region and Buccaneer Region drivers - you don't want to come and play? Besides Belay and Stern, I don't see anyone from those regions.

The tow is less than 8 hours from Atlanta and less than 6 from Savannah.

Southeast FC drivers, we now have 7 confirmed entries. I know there are more out there!

Still only one each from ATL and BUCC regions. You're not gonna let Jim and Mark do all the work for the regions are you? The rest of you, get those cars out! It's warm, the folks are friendly, but best of all, your racing season starts next month!

Bummed I'm missing this one. I really need to talk to the wife about having a baby during racing season.
