Default Fire suppression system - check me on selection

Looking to replace my expired bottle and looking at the SPA "Extreme" series with the Novtec fluid.

Price is right ($487). Better than the AFFF. SFI 17.1 certified.

Looking for head-nod from you folks this is the way to go?

The SPA systems are very good. Just my opinion, I prefer Novec over AFFF, because AFFF will not extinguish a pressure fed fire.

There is also a good local choice, Safecraft in Concord. They build systems with any allowable extinguishing fluid. They build systems for general aviation, military and motorsports.

They can also accommodate most space and size limitations if you ask.

Thanks for the Safecraft reference. I'll be going with their system.

They offer a choice of steel or aluminum tubing. Any reason to go one way or another?

Aluminum is a lot easier to form. And it's lighter.
