    Franklin,

I believe this is the Cooper Tire Series. SCCA Pro Racing is no longer involved with the F/SCCA car after this year.

O yeah, I know this much. I was just wondering if there would be a series website or something, besides sccapro.com or usff2000.com

Anybody have a guess what it will cost to get a car and tools to Puerto Rico? Or does anybody want to quote rental fees for that race weekend?

Other than that the schedule looks pretty good. I just doubt most of us will have the budget for Puerto Rico.

    Hi guys,

As someone stated this is indeed the Cooper Tires Championship Series FSCCA schedule. While it's sanctioned by Pro Racing, it will be run by Formula Motorsports, which runs the Zetec Championship.

As for Puerto Rico, I believe it will be the same as this past year. Teams will have to get their rigs to Jacksonville, where the race promoter has a boat to ship to Puerto Rico.

BTW, for those interested the Cooper Tires Championship series will be conducting a official off-season test at Roebling Road, November 24/25. For information on registering call Michelle at (973) 575-2626.

    Cheers,

    Al.

I know the Zetec Championship is currently working on a West Coast schedule and I would guess that the Formula SCCA car will be part of those weekends. I'll keep you posted.

    Cheers,

I fly for Arrow Air, A cargo airline based in Miami. You can get space(one pallet) which is enough room for two cars, tools, and equipment. for around $1500 each way Miami to San Juan. That's just a guess, it may be less. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Being that I get back and forth there for free, I can be available to crew for anyone interested.
