I entered. Don't know if I'll camp in my toy hauler or motel it. There should be plenty of reasonably close reasonable motels in Indy area.

If it is going to be a sell out I would start looking for hotels/motels now. There aren't that many that are close to the track as it is right in a residential area. There are a couple closer to 465 but that is still a couple of miles from the track.

There are quite a few surrounding the entire Indy-metro area...HOWEVER...start shopping around NOW !!!
I've found, over the years, that NOTHING in Downtown Indy or right by the IMS is "reasonable" at any time of the year.
Go on Google Maps, find Indianapolis, zoom out to see the entire area (bounded on 4-sides by 65-465), click "nearby hotels", & start shopping.
But, like I said, start doing it NOW or the prices will be going up-Up-UP closer to the event date.
Hope you have a great time...going to try making it as a spectator.
