    Default Engine ralenti

    HELLO,

    My fv engine doesnt have the air cooling turbine. How much time can i leave the car in ralenti
    without overheating the cylinder heads? My engine is 1600 cc with a vz15 cam and a higher
    compression ratio.

    I want to settle the carburation for ralentti and fix the engine timming.

    The time will vary with temperature and elevation of where you are.

    A high performance engine will definitely over heat faster than a stock engine.

    I would say that 5 minutes at 20C and at sea level would be about it.

    You want to keep the cylinder head temperature well below 200C.
