    Default 2016 GLC Schedule

    GLC competitors met last weekend to agree on a schedule for the coming season. We will be running 5 weekends again this year. The races will take place in conjunction with SCCA divisional (regional) races, Waterford Hills (WHRRI) and the Midwestern Council.

    The schedule is as follows;

    May 21-22 Gingerman Raceway SBR, DET, WOR SCCA

    June 25-26 Grattan Raceway WMR SCCA

    July 16-17 Mid-Ohio race track OVR SCCA

    Aug 13-14 Waterford Hill WHRRI

    Sept 17-18 Gingerman Raceway Midwestern Council

    Points championship is same as before, ten races with a two race drop, thus counting your best 8 race finishes. Bonus points for fastest qualifier and fastest race lap in each class (FC & CFC).

    Bruce MacDonald is working on a group tire buy again. He needs orders and payment by mid March.

    In 2014 we expanded the years for CFC up to 1995. This year we have decided to follow the example of the NWFC series and require that Zetec powered cars run a minimum weight of 1,250 lbs.

    Anyone interest in the series and not on our email list please contact Keith Averill (248-585-9139) or glc.series@racing-stuff.com

    But since they run with regional races you can participate with a novice permit....
    So you need a physical and a school...
