    Default Another track coming to the northeast??

    Just found this on the internet... amazing whats on the internet.
    Is this old news?
    Canaan NH speedway was bought up by a college teacher to turn into a road course!

    From what I can find on the internet the owner's business model may be more focused on track days / kart racing / vehicle evaluation. Track is 7/8 mile and should be fine for that. The track day business model may make more sense than immediately putting in a facility to support racing.

    I fear that there are not too many tracks in the northeast for the amount of races to support. I think the next year or so will be interesting times for track owners as they try to fill there calenders.

    Most events I have been to this year have been under subscribed to and money losing events for the club that put them on. They can't continue to do that. I have already hear some clubs taking about cutting their schedules back for 2016.

    Don't forget about the other new track that's still in the making in Tamworth, NH
    Hopefully more tracks means lower entry fees.... yeah right.
