Mid Ohio lodging
Where is a good place to stay for Mid Ohio? Mansfield? Need to book a motel.
Also, found it is easier to rent a car in Mansfield after the race Sunday and drive to Columbus. I can then fly out around 6pm and get into Portland, OR around 11pm.

When not staying in the RV at the track (not your option) we stay at the Bellview exit on I-71 where SR 97 crosses I-71. We tend to dine in Lexington.

I always stayed at the Travel Lodge up on the hill next to the excellent Mexican restaurant when I raced there. Passing through a few years back with my wife (who thought the Travel Lodge was a flea-bag dump full of bed-bugs...picky, picky, picky) we elected to stay in the Best Western on the other side of I-71. It was a nice place and reasonably priced.
Try the Mexican place for sure!
