    Default Fiberglass FC seats

    hello all,

recently there was a FC advertised on the forum that had a fiberglass seat in it. I am wondering if any of you out there know where a fiberglass seat for an OW car and mounting system could be obtained? Thank you

I hate to be a wet blanket, but I would strongly recommend a proper bead type seat in lieu of fiberglass.

I think a bead seat in a simulator is probably a little overkill even for Blair

To be clear, this seat I am asking about is for one of our racing simulators. it needs to be able to slide forward and back and be able to accommodate a varied size of drivers.

I have tried to get Tillett out of the uk to build one of there W4 seats but man, so far I have waited over 8 months for replies from them. Kooky for sure.

And thanks Roger, but I do have a bead seat for my simulator!

how do you see a seat mold working Roger? I have no way to lay up the glass or I should say, I do not know how to lay up Fglass.

Now that we know its for a simulator we're more inclined to chime in.

Many early FF had fiberglass seats. Much like the 80's Reynards.

You could expand your search to other chassis like Crossle.

Or.... call Skip Barber school and see if they have anything laying around from all their school cars.

I have a fiberglass seat out of my Crossle 30F that I'd be willing to sell. PM me if you are interested.
