    Default Rubber Benchtop Covers

In the past I've seen trailers (most of them semi's) with stainless benchtops, where people have cut up rubber sheets to cover the benchtops, for protection and i think to keep things from sliding off when on the road. can anyone recommend or tell me what material exactly they use? McMaster has a ton of choices. thanks

For our bench tops we went to a local hardware store and bought a roll of coin pattern rubber mats and cut it to size to fit our stainless bench tops. The only draw back was if you needed to write on a piece of paper you had to have a clipboard around. But it kept things from sliding around and protected the bench top.

Check with your local roofers. They may have a piece of rubber roofing laying around.

Thanks for the input. Team Penske uses neoprene rubber sheet (60D), 1/8" thick. You can buy it 36" wide per lineal foot (between $16-24 per foot)
McMaster sells it with a different durometer rating for around $23 per ft
