    Default Nose mount question.

I know that the nose is mounted to the chassis via the 2 cap head bolts. What do you guys have UNDER them? I have some homemade rubber pieces that look like attempts at washers. Obviously this isn't the "factory" solution. So, what is?

Yes, I searched the parts website, and was unable to find anything that looked like the proper piece.

We use washers. I've also seen some bolts that have the washers welded to them. I have also see round washers with edges cut off to fit into the recessed holes within the body work. The point is, there are a number or solutions to the challenge.

    Frank,
Moses makes a "bushing" for each side by pouring some Fiberglass resin with a little hardener into the nose cavity then drills a hole through it for the bolt. Use wax paper or something similar to keep it from bonding to the nose.
