I'm sad to say we lost Jim Swain this week. Jim was always great to be around, he always had a smile on his face and was real character. He will truly be missed and the track won't be the same without him.

It's terribly sad regarding the loss of Jim. At the run-offs a few weeks ago in Daytona, he was constantly moving about trying to find someone to assist. No indication whatsoever that in a few weeks, his limey draw, his effervescent smile, and his lightening wit would no longer be with us. Life is so precious. Each day is a gift and it can be taken away so quickly.
The comfort of having Jim as a friend may be taken away, but not that of having had him as one. God bless Jim

Hear, hear - well said.
I have met many special people throughout the years of racing.
Some really stand out - Jim was one.
RIP, Racer
RIP Jim. Condolences to family and friends.
Jim was great in the paddock and a skilled gentleman on the track. One of the "old friends " you always looked forward to seeing at the track.
Jim never seemed to be anything but happy.........happy to be at the track...happy to see you...happy to help you...happy to race you after that...a fast driver and a clean racer.
I had many good race moment's with Jim and after the race even better fun in trailer talking about the day and drinking Foster's. RIP Jim
We are so sad to hear of Jim's passing.
He was always so much fun to be around at the track.
At the Daytona runoffs, he made me laugh so hard when he made fun of my homemade scale ramps.
It will never be quite the same at the track without his sense of humor.
Prayers to his family and his racing family.
