I have a friend visiting from New Zealand who wants to visit MIS to observe the Majors races there this Sunday. He is not an SCCA member - will he have any problem getting in?

if he can get signed in as "crew" for someone, there should be zero issues. Not sure what the usual stuff is currently on non-member spectating.
just go to the crew/volunteer window and say you're interested in observing and learning about SCCA. sign the waiver. enjoy your time.
Depends on which FF tire they are in favor of....
Dayle Frame may be busy now, but he previously wrote me the following:
The grandstand will be open, and there's a tunnel from the infield to the grandstand.
The only way to see the entire course from the infield is to get on top of the pit suites. There are a dozen sets of stairs leading to the roof of the pit suites and we have encouraged folks to go up there for viewing. There are no stands in the infield.
We're selling tickets for $20 or you can add folks to your over crew for $10.
Many thanks all - specially Larry.
