Default Bell Helmet video contest. I made the finals!

    http://throughthevisor.bellracing.com/william-wise

I made the finals of another video contest! There’s a bunch of sweet entries so be sure to vote. But make sure you vote for me first.

Its been pretty exciting making the Champion Spark Plugs contest finals and now the Bell Helmets contest finals. My brother and I try to put some thought and effort into making our videos so it's rewarding to see the payout in making the cut for these contests. The voting is pretty easy but you do have to sign up. Use your spam email account, sign up, set a daily alarm, then vote everyday. You can vote once a day and voting runs today thru the end of August.

Just a plain, old GoPro. Its a mix of Hero 2 and 3.

I will have to see if I have any pics. Its a sticky mount at the top edge of the visor and then three of the extensions to put it right in the middle of my line of sight. With it on it looks like it would be in the way but you actually end up looking right past it.

Cool video but I'll never attach something to my own helmet. Doesn't seem safe at all....

Take a close look at my helmet and you can see how it is mounted. Simply attached using standard 3m double sided tape.

got it - thanks. always thought gopro in that position would appear too far forward, but your video looked nice.

I've used that location for a couple videos now and it turns out really nicely. It's been as close to a true first person view as I've found.
