    Default Runoff Reserved Paddock

    1) Any info available beyond what is stated in the Supps about the location and configuration of reserved paddock sizes & locations?

    2) The Supps state that DIS does not allow "carts" on the property. Does this mean golf carts??

On the Runoffs page at the SCCA website click on Participant Information.

You can click on Free Paddock on line 3 to see where the free paddock parking is.

    Full map here. http://cdn.growassets.net/user_files/scca/site_assets/000/010

You can click on the map to zoom in.

The paved paddocks are: Red (not the free area), Black, Grey, and Purple.

There is more participant info available on that page, such as the Parking Process and Camping info.

As far as I know golf carts are allowed. If they are not, this would be the first event that that happened.

    Thanks…..

Are there any elevated spots for spotting in/from the interior of the track, say structures along pit lane, etc.?

I can't say whether the speedway will let people have access or not but there are stands on the inside in turn one that let you see 90% of the track. Bring binoculars

In my opinion, the best place to watch is the stands at the infield turn 4, the dog leg to the left. The stands are near the Green Paddock space 120.

One can stand at the top of the stands, see the entire infield, most of the banks, and the back stretch. It is interesting to see all the different lines drivers use entering turn 5 from these stands.

One can also see cars dive bombing off the trI oval into the infield.

There are corporate viewing areas overlooking the pits at pit exit (the long blue roof.) I suspect that area is only used for the stock car races.

The Fan Zone should be open. Once an hour a tram drives around the infield with guests visiting Daytona USA. These trams will not interfere with our racing.
