Aside from the obvious craftsmanship and metal bumping skills, it's impressive that he got it done in 4 years especially with a small crew.
My little project is ONLY a restoration and I can't believe the hours I have in it.
But then, race cars always seem to intrude on my shop schedule.
Am I the only one that read the title and thought "I didn't know they built a GTO back in 62!" Ha ha silly me to forget that other manufacturer of goats.

You and me both. But what else would one expect when you grown up in the home town of Ace Wilson's Royal Pontiac. They did a lot of work to make the Pontiac GTO a strong contender at Detroit Dragway and other drag strips (doing Friday night practice runs from light to light, on Woodward Ave. in Royal Oak).
Gran Turismo Omologato -- Rumor has it that Enzo was PO'ed when released by John Deloren/Pontiac and did not make amends with GM (and following his "deal breaker incident" with Ford) until he needed Turbo 400s for his 400ia's
