You might want to look into that before buying one. I've been in and out of FF many years and I have yet to see any FF guy using one of those lifts but I don't know why. Vee guys yes but never one FF guy.

    Default FF Lift

I have a lift just like that pictured and use if for my Crossle 35f all the time! It works great and certainly beats bending down all the time, now that I am of a certain age! I wish I knew where they were made because I could have sold a dozen of them the past few years. Mine has a logo on it that say "Kar Jac". Good luck hunting one and let us know if you ever find a current supplier!

Do a search for Kart racing lifts. I know Streeter Super Stands have a lift like the one pictured

I have one for my karts. It's very old. Been repainted several times. I'll try to track down who made it.

Brian McCarthy in Sacramento makes them. He's a frequent poster on the fv section.

Marshall and I were talking about those recently. I have the plans and we were discussing making a few in my shop. One for me, him, Josh L, and maybe a couple other guys in our group. Shoot me a pm with your name if interested in getting in.

Blake Tatum built mine. He's on ApexSpeed too. We took some measurements first to make sure it was wide enough to accommodate the side pods (barely).

I left my driver ballast in once and picked the car up and that was a bit of a struggle so I'd say 1000 lb max load.

When looking for a winch, make sure you get one with a steel cable. There are some out there that have a high lift rating with the non-metal cables. If you do get one of these, replace the poly robe with wire cable, or it can get ugly.
