The car is still available. I have a fellow from out east who is interested. We are trying to get him here to look at it. He was going to come this weekend but got sick. I am doing some odds and ends on the car in the mean time.

Any interest in a trade for a 1995 BMW M3? It's a very rare Avus blue, non-sunroof edition.
PM me with details about the car. Is it stock? miles, condition, etc....value?
Thanks for your interest.
Tom,
Nice meeting you today; the car looked very good out there. I was hoping Kevin would have the 87 Citation out to get a good benchmark on the potential of the Reynard in C-Mod. The B-Mod LeGrand with FTD today used to regularly win or podium at the national championships with Tom Bootz at the wheel; it's a very fast car.
Glad the shoulder is doing better!

Lola: When four springs just aren't enough.
Thanks Kip! It was a good first outing of the year. I really appreciated the assistance with the car with my shoulder still healing after the rotator cuff in January. My spin at the finish line on my first run was the most comprehensive I have ever experienced. I took out more cones than I did all last year.
Oil pressure was good, temp. good and the car felt very good.
Although I am very rusty, I beat all the cars I should have and got beat by all the cars that should have beat me.
I'm off to the Speedrome in Indy today to run in our region's second points event. The starter had been making a lot of noise and yesterday I discovered the bolts were loose. I tightened them and it is working and sounding a lot better now.
I got in two decent runs on Sunday before discovering my on board battery was going south. I suspect it may have contributed also to the coil failure (?). So I have bought the next size bigger ballistic battery.
Ran again at Grissom last sunday. I had trouble with starting so I am planning to replace the ring gear and have the starter gear checked and replaced if necessary. I don't consider this work to increase the value so if someone is interested in taking the car as is I will reduce the price $500.
I am going tomorrow to pick up the Reynard from Contintntal motorsports in Cincinatti tomorrow. New ring gear, rebuilt starter and timing set spot on after redialing distributor.
So I will probably head for the track soon.
Been gone on vacation two weeks and otherwise busy too.
I'd still love to sell or do a good trade.
I'll add a good m3 to my list of potential trades too after discussing with my son in law.
I have the car back from Cincy now. It starts right up. Still available.
This is a great value. I've seen it in person and would have no problem recommending this car for this very competitive price.
I went to South Bend yesterday and ran. All the new parts worked fine. Car ran strong, started every time, no fuss and kept its cool. My tires are two years old at least and on the asphalt at tire rack it was almost like running on snow. (I don't mind).
Got beat for FTD by a much modified Subie with big tires and an experienced driver...bout a half second.
I was hoping the track would be stickier in the afternoon with the sun but a brisk breeze came up and kept things very cool.
I had a nice conversation today with someone from a warm place who said a check was going in the mail today. If it falls apart I will post here.

I received the deposit today. Delivery is planned for around November 15, 2014.
My buyer is not interested in my trailer or my iron head (see details above).
I will sell the trailer for $650 obo. Needs wiring for the lights.
The Prepped iron head is $300 obo.

My buyer is unable to consummate the deal at present. The car is back on the market.
The total package including all things noted above was negotiated with him at $9800 delivered to Oklahoma, so if someone else wishes it at that price I will extend the same deal to them.
I have reduced the price for winter to $8000 for the car. I am capable of hauling the car within 500 miles or so for minimal costs.
The car is still available. I have three fellows currently showing interest in the car. I am becoming more motivated every day. I welcome reasonable offers.
I have accepted a deposit for the car now. I'll let you know if that does not go through.
Thanks Apexspeed!

Sold and gone to St. Louis. I'll let the buyer disclose his name if he wants to.
Thanks Apexspeed!
I've enjoyed my time here and running the formula car but will probably not come around much unless I happen to buy another formula car, which seems unlikely.
Adios Gentlemen!
Well that didn't take long to sell. Good luck in your future endevours what ever they may be.

Tom - Glad to see it finally sold. I hope the good times outweighed the "challenges".

Waiting to see this driven in anger by the new owner!
C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !
all ways thought yours was a fine looking automobile
Damn...I still had my eye on this one and was in the process of selling my FSP car. A few days late and $8,000 short.
Thanks for the kind words. I have put a deposit on a nice D mod car. I'll be picking it up as soon as the barn door (its Wisconsin) thaws enough to get it out. (no kidding). I'm in the market for an enclosed trailer too.
Yes. It is the YC-3 (third yellow car Del built) built by Del Long of Iowa in 2002. I have been having a blast running it this year. I'll guess that I have run it in less than a full season nearly as much as I did the FF in three or four years.
Lap times are not quite as fast as the FF but the acceleration is eyesight blurring!
Its not as pretty as the FF though.
