Saw on Facebook that slahor had shifter break at the start.

The guy behind him, in an FE, had nowhere to go. I barely missed the three of them checking up, as did several of us around them.
And standing starts wouldn't solve anything. So Jason breaks on the standing start, everyone is going to be quick enough to go around him while stationary?With mixed classes and various acceleration levels? And how many cars you think would we have stalling at the start? It would be a mess, have you seen Indy Car trying it?

Wasn't as bad as I thought it was.

You can see the debris on the track the couple of laps after the start there. It wasn't terrible, seen worse.
