    Default Carb linkage bracket ID

    Need help identifying which VW these brackets were fitted on. They have a VW symbol stenciled on and part numbers 917A and 918A. They are now seen on vintage aircooled Super Vees.

    They were the original fitted to AC SV's with the Type IV engine.

    Possibly 914-4 also.

    I think all the 914s sold in this country were EFI.

    I believe those came with the 912 that had the 356 motor, not the 912E that had the 914 motor. Part of the Solex 40P11 set-up.

    the Samba might be another source of information.
