When you start running the bigger events - Divisionals, NT's, etc, you will need two sets of mounted slicks (in addition to the mounted skinnier rain tires/wheels) - one for practice and the best set for competition, like I posted about this above. This is when you use the Tire Totes from SPS to cover up the tires. The rain tires are ALWAYS in the tire totes and in a cool, dark place and the coated competition tires get covered in tire totes the day of packing - the coated practice tires are on the car.Originally Posted by kayakanimal
