Folks,
I have raced against this car. It is a no-cost spared machine.
It was offered to me in February, and I immediately put all my Reynard stuff up for sale. Rob and Kevin were nice enough to hold it for me while i sold off all the Reynard stuff.
Around May 1st I told Kevin I wasn't going to buy it. He didn't believe me, because he knew just how much I liked it. So, he said he would hold it for a while more thinking I would come to my senses.
I am 6'0, 205# and I seem to fit easily in it. Rob is well over 6 feet. I am not sure Kevin mentioned it in his ad, but the shifter has been modified to work much better with taller guys.
I truly believe this car is worth every bit of the asking price. It is also a great car for a Honda Fit (Langbein) conversion. But i fully intended to race it as FC.
I can't believe this car will be on the market long. I think it is the best deal to show up on Apexspeed in a long while.
Thank you, and yes the shifter has been modified for the taller drivers, but can also easily be returned to original for the shorter guys. Definitely a great deal for anyone looking to get into a formula car, the operating costs of this car are minimal when compared to other chassis.
