    Default Rotax 494 jetting chart/spreadsheet

Hello everyone. Searched and couldn't find the info I needed- does anyone have a jetting chart or spreadsheet for tuning the Rotax 494?

    Thanks,
    Ben

Most have probably built there own sheet based on Data collected. You would be in the area of 260 ish to 300 ish depending on the weather and engine condition for the main jet and also depending on what you put in the idle jet. If you are unsure, start at 300 or 310 and work down. I usually start there for the early season when temp is possible 55 or 60 deg and/or a new engine, by July when it is 80-90 deg will be in the 270 ish to see what happens. I try and get my EGTs around 1250-1275. That temp can vary depending on EGT placement in the pipe, engine quality so it can be a bit of a moving target. See my avatar at f500.us (Zippy) to see what happens when things go wrong!
